Fred was a fun character to have at the range. He was one of the original members from over 20 years ago. Talking to various people, they had fond memories of him and his sense of humour. I can't ever recall him saying a bad word about anyone, but he did like to have a laugh and a wind up with us all. We always said that every year Fred was in hibernation, as he didn't visit the range between October and March. This year was no exception, but unfortunately in January he sadly left us forever.RIP

To a very dear step dad John. Taken from us too soon. You took us on when we were young, you cared and loved us, provided and were there for my important days. Your stories, for which there were many, your jokes which were bad, your love of sport and your happy positive outlook on life were there until you left us. Your music taste for which I used to complain about had rubbed off on me and now so many songs remind me of you. You're a good man John, my real Dad, loved and forever in my heart.

Margaret Tysall

Margaret was a sister at The General Hospital in Birmingham before moving to Louth in Lincolnshore in 1992. She suffered an amputation and a stroke 15 years ago but still managed to do 1000 lengths of the pool in Louth in one week doing back stroke with one arm and one leg. She was always thinking of others and sending cards and letters. When she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2021 Macmillan nurses Dawn and Candy supported her. Margaret donated in her will to help support others.
